A mechanic at his core, Johnny has always had a passion for fixing things. It’s his attention to detail that has fostered a strong reputation within the HVAC Testing & Balancing industry. He is a quick learner who doesn’t give up easily and he’s a firm believer that a successful business relationship relies on communication and collaboration, both of which he excels. With years of experience running his own Mechanic shop he opted for a less physically demanding career, and in 2010 he became a TAB Technician. When he’s not on a job site you can find Johnny on the ice playing hockey or running his dogs on an agility course. His son wants his attention, and his teenage daughter wants anything but. His neighbours wish he’d tame the weeds in the yard. With Raincity Technical Services he’s been able to spend more time playing video games or soccer with his son and they’re both better for it.
Projects that I’m proud of: Red Fish Healing Centre at Riverview, GFL Compost Facility, FMF Cape Breton – Esquimalt.
Surprising benefit to this industry: The travel! I’ve had the privilege of being able to see some beautiful places in this country from Dawson City, Yukon; Regina, Saskatchewan; to Hay River, Northwest Territories. I would have likely never seen those places had it not been for the projects that I’ve completed there.
